    I Have this site,

The domain is 2 years old.

For the last three months, I was getting anywhere from 400 - 800 uniques from google.

Also everyday, More and more pages would get indexed,

    I currently have 600 + pages indexed...

    THE PROBLEM:

48 hours ago, NOT one single visit from googles search..

Like my site vanished into thin air...

BUT - My indexed pages count has gone up....

    Whats the deal -

How come my pages are getting more indexed, YET

    The results are GONE?

Is this some sort of engine rollback?

I thought I new seo, Until this

Some one please help / advise

You'll never know SEO. Nobody will.
It happen to me, but probably not that bad. I had 200-250 uniques/day and for 2 days:25-30 !!
It's been back today as a decent number.
    No idea why.
It got back once I did few little change of content though...
If I was you, I'll begin to worry if it's still gone after 4-5 days...

Been happening to mine since march 26th.
My whole site was out for over 2 weeks.
One keyword (as an example but it affected all my keywords) was always no 1-3 for 5 months then nowhere. After a while it came back no. 100+ then went out again and 3 days ago came back in at no.3 for one day and today it is no. 400+
    I wish I knew.
During this time google has indexed another 400+ pages.

At first glance it looks to me like your "find it quick" navigation could be the problem. If it's repeated on every page of your site google may see it as link spam. Without knowing what keywords you were getting hits from I can't really tell you anything though.

    Thats just a "tag" system....

    Tons of sites have tags....

    for instance

http://www.sundaybrew.com Plenty of traffic ( Tag system )

http://www.thatvideosite.com Plenty of traffic ( Tag system )

    Just don't get it

Also tons of people use tag, I think its even a wordpress add on at this point

Plus, Google is still indexing.........wtf...so if they didnt like It, I would think that they would Not keep indexing me....

There is something strange on google for nearly one month. its so quick refresing sometimes but sometimes it takes 15 day to visit after it, sometimes it delete more than 500 indexed pages in a second, and sometimes it add 1000 in the same time. as others say, something ganna change with google adsense page rank features.. l am waiting the update, l dont worry :) Everything ganna be fine for good peoples. we all wish.

I have a site that lost a large amount of google referrals about that same day. No idea how or why. It came back up for a couple days, then back down. Hoping it doesn't last much longer.

I was getting near 800 referrals a day from google and had been for months, now I get about 200.

    Yea - I went from 400 - 800 to

ZERO , ZIP, NOT ONE SINGLE hit....

But they keep indexing,........which is strange as hell

    I have never seen this,

I have seen sites get banned, BUT never more and more indexed, yet 0 results...

    My keywords weren't huge,

Most traffic was just flowing naturally...

I mean, All that content, I wrote my self by hand,

It's not uncommon to have a plunge in Google lately. (It did happen to one of my site, almost the same case, no changes, more quality content, indexing all right...)

Usually, the site is back in the SERPs within 2 or 3 weeks.

If you don't see positive change after this time, you should start to worry.

Meanwhile, I would advise you not to change anything (navigation links, internal linking structure, title tags...) except if you know for sure what was the reason for the plunge.

Just hold on, and your site should be back soon. (I hope so)

You mentioned you busted your arse off writting a lot of content. Did you all off a sudden add much more content than usual in the last several days?

I am not sure but on two of my sites similar and most of my sites and subs are datafeeds. I have had much better luck with less fluxuation in serps when I slowly introduce a feed. In otherwords I won't introduce the whole feed or make it available at once.

Also same with content. I won't write 20-30 pages and all of a sudden put up a site. I put up a page and add a page or two of content a week and have much better luck. It could be a fluke.

Have you closely looked at your source on the inner pages? Are you missing a closing body tag? I would run it through a verifyer! I dont see a closing body tag at the end of your code.

I had similare situation page displyed fine as soon as I resolved and verified code on page i was buck up next crawl.

You have a nice website and useful contents, i hope that the G will solve it out.

But could it be because of G is currently updating on something?

I also had a site with 700-800 uniques per day, dropped to 200 just lately. My other sites are fine though. You just never know with search engines, so it's best not to rely 100% on their traffic.

I forgot to add nice usefull site I hope it does well. I would not change anything for a few weeks until you realise it is not just a minor update, rollback or something else unless it is a coding error. I looks like you are using a CMS?
