Best designed site for CTR you have seen?

Ads that look like content have great CTR.

So what's the best designed site you have seen, where design makes ads look a lot like content, without looking so spammy?

I'm looking for some inspiration on design...

Dont you think you would do better if you had some content related to your site on the hyome page rather than a joke .

On the other hand I find that you are getting ads that are more relevant to your site than the content itself. That may push up your CTR greatly.

 

Yep everything is nice except for the homepage where I get ads for lawncare and zoysia grass.

 

You have a joke with the word "grass" several times, what would you expect??

When I get to http://exaro.org/ , I get ads about grass.

But when I click home ( http://exaro.org/index.php) , I get ads about games.

Is the index page different from homepage ( I know nothing about programming or anything related to it)

You may get more relevant ads if you convert the non relevant text to images

well hidden i have to say but what got me is how he has mangaed to get four lots of adsence on his site you have scroll right down to the bottom but i counted four lots of adds.

I thought you could only have 3 add units

 

That's the best one I've seen so far for hidding the ads. Maybe they are so well hidden that even Google can't find the 4th ad

Looks like the page is in frames, if you view source on different parts of the site you get different code.

 

Unless I missed counting one somewhere.... he has three "ad units" and one "link unit" which does comply with the adsense TOS.

 

I agree. Thats 3 ad units plus 1 link unit

List of Companies in India is the page title but there is a block of adsense ads right under it. Anyone know?

 

Hi all been a lurker for a while and finally registered.
All of the sites are great samples especially the India stock market great job on the ads with that one. On my site I started out with all pages like the index and now have been converting them to the style on the "Orange County" page with the ads in the same table as the content and have seen more clicks with the change. Having fun making my site and getting loads of info from this forum.
