    I wish to transfer the account name from my Dad's name to my Mom's name which means I need to change only the first name

    How do I do that ?

    i dont think it is possible,may b u can contact paypal about it,not sure even they will chage it or not.

    Be prepared to submit an official documentation for your name change probably something from the High Court. You cannot just change name as and when you want to.

    I think I better not comment on that as even for him to open an account not in his own name would already be against TOS. Encouraging him to open another account in someone's elses name is really against my principle.

    I opened it in my dads name since I do not have my own account since I am still 16 and I do not want to do something that is more illegal

    I know many members at DP who use their cousins or parents name

    Actually if you follow the nature of Paypal Terms, you are not supposed to open an account in someone else's name to begin with.

    What others do does not necessary make it right.

    is all the details in that paypal account is of your dad, if not then make it and say that account is of your dad and your dad has made that account!

    then open another account from a different computer on your name, that will be your account. then email paypal and say that your dad has an account and manage it from your computer, can you have a account!
    is there any rule of paypal that says, you can't have an account, if your dad already have a account there!!
