    Hello all

Today I wanted to log in into my paypal account but my real password was invalid. I requested a new password and now works fine. Can anybody explain this?
    Thanks

Hmm.. Just remember that every website has to do some upgrade and maintenance. It's just one of those. ;)

hacked or banned, probably both are grave feelings!
anyways, it is better that you got it easy, but then a real password won't work, that too with paypal where security is so important, makes me feel a bit nervous!!

possible your account was hacked by someone.
but possible you entered wrong password or real password but with CAPSLOCK on.

And I hope your paypal and e-mail password was not same.

I hope you weren't on a phishing site and entered your password.......if you did, change it right away.

I once failed logging in several times...I assume this was caused by me transposing letters in my password.

On another site, I was typing in the wrong password and could not figure out why it was not working.

I'm a member on another forum that I have to get my password emailed to me once a month (about as often as I log into it) I swear I reset it to something I can remember, but each time I end up getting logged out my PW never seems to work *shrug*

I have other stories/examples, but I think the point I am trying to make is that most errors are user based. I'm not blaming the user exactly, just saying it's generally their fault. Sometimes I do panic though, especially for things like payment processors...

Then it couldn't have been a bug , (or can it ?) Most probably a maintenance that would have caused the confusion.
Well anyway , the button line is your account is safe and you do not have any problem with paypal. :D
