Getting Google PR with almost no efforts?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Dannyboy1, Apr 11, 2007.

I am discussing today with a friend of mine that you're able to get from PR0 for a new site to PR5 with only 10 legit links with no more efforts. He says it's not possible. I don't mean ofc PR7-8-9 links or other paid links but regular links that almost anyone would be able to obtain in a whitehat way.
    What do you think?

I've seen a site that had just 3 backlinks in Google and they were whois search results and some other useless results. it was a newish domain and it has pr2 with no efforts. Not sure if it was mistake by Google or that those links with no traffic hardly or PR helped... Sites gone down now... and can't remember full domain

PR is 100% determined by incoming links to your site. You could get a PR5 - 6 -7 etc. with a single link provided the linking page had a high enough PR and your link was the only one on the page. Yes, you could get a PR5 with less than 10 backlinks from sites lower than a PR7 - it happens all the time.

Getting PR6 + is when it starts to get hard anything under that is "child's play" :D

Maybe that is why artificial PR and natural PR are definitely not same.

Any eBooks or tutoring anyone can give me as far as PRs go? I know the basics, but of the 100-200 websites I have a link in, none show up in the webmaster tools backlinks.

It depends on the quality of the links. 10 links are enough to get a PR5.

Google doesn't show all backlinks, just a sample. Use Yahoo instead (type "site:domain.com").
