    That's a good tool!

    Also what you can do is use the Eyedropper tool on Photoshop to pick up colors in a photograph/image (if you're trying to find suitable colors for photographs). All you do is click on the tool (I) click on an area on the photograph to which you want to pick up the color, then just use that color to fill in your layer.
