Mod Rewrite needed

I have a website made in phpnuke that has a custom mod rewrite done by a programmer but a problem came up (I can't contact this programmer). If you are familiar with phpnuke: if an "article" has the same title as another "article" and you try to access the second, it shows the first one with the url of the second. The mod rewrite done shows the titles in the url instead of the ids. I was thinking that maybe adding the id number in the url would solve the problem.

nuke is a pain it mod_rewrite ...it's why anyone with serious SEO desires leaves it alone...I personally don't know any mod_rewrites for nuke and I searched high and low back in the day when I ran a nuke site...finally I just ditched nuke

 

Yes, I know it's not easy to do it. That's why I got a good programmer to do that, and several other stuff I wanted modified. I still like Nuke a lot though. So... anyone?? Where do you recommend me to search for a programmer then? Thanks.

 

An easier way to do it would be to login to your database thru phpmyadmin and rename the article I would think.

So often doesn't mean always There are hundreds of articles and this would be a crazy task :S

 

You could search for the title in phpmyadmin in a matter of seconds and be done with it.
