Woohoo! Just had my first $10 Adsense day!! Something about those double figures makes you feel like you're actually getting somewhere! I feel like dancing around in my underwear!
Thanks for all your congratulations guys. It's nice to see all the hard work finally paying off! I love how this forum is so supportive. It's great to see webmasters helping other webmasters! Hope you all have a great day!
All you guys making less than me, never give up hope. I'm no web genius, I'm just an average bloke off the street who decided to give it a go and put in the hard yards. Keep working on your sites, keep adding content, keep driving traffic to your sites and play by the rules (be honest!) and you WILL see your bottom line improve! Most importantly: You have to love what you do and love the niche you work in! Good luck to everyone else out there! You can do it too!
Funny thing, but one of the traits that ALL self made millionaires share is goal setting and achievement. I read an article that interviewed self made rich people, and they all more or less said the same thing. They said that they set their goals, decided what the cost would be financially, personally time etc, then decided if they were willing to pay that price. Many of them said that they walke away from projects because they were not willing to pay the price. I have drawers and cd's full of projects that I have brought to 'ready to go' level, but decided that they would be too time consuming to actually run with. So they sit wasting away no doubt they will never see the light of day. Time is my motivator, and has been for a while now. Money doesn't motivate me (although I need money to live lol) it is quality of life that drives me on now. We have one project though that I am loathe to let go, we have market tested it and it is a winner. It involves working with other people on a free franchise basis though, and my wife and I are at odds over it lol. I know that if we run with it, it will bring in an extra £35,000 a year, and it will only mean working hard for about 12 months then sitting back and taking the residual. It is fee based and all repeat income. But, I promised her I wouldn't work long hours again, so that looks like another one off to the drawer of death Well done, if you can get $10 then duplicate the effort and you have $20 selling is ALL about numbers.
Well in my case, the Ads on my sites especially on the sites included in my signature are creating satisfactory CTR. There is only one thing that I am working hard to achieve... that is the traffic of my sites.
Congrats, from $0 to 10$ a day is the hardest part. After that keep on doing what you're doing and increase the traffic to the website.
How long did it take to go from zero to ten? I am at 1.5 months and my best day has been a $4 day. Congrats. Hope to be there soon.
IMO the volume isn't the issue. If you are earning, then the business model works. All you need to do to increase earnings is increase traffic, and improve the conversion ratios. I know it is basic stuff, but selling is all about numbers (said it again lol). In selling, to earn more, you either sell more to existing customers, or find new customers to sell to. Bringing down the conversion ration sells more to existing traffic, getting more traffic achieves both the first and second objective as you will sell MORE to the new clients. God selling is great
I started with Adsense about five months ago, but built my site up for nine months before I put the ads on there. Now all that work is beginning to pay off.
Congrats on your $10 day! I remember my first $10 day... I imagined what it would be like if I could pull in that much everyday. Then after a few months I was! You will be there soon... I have no doubt. Good luck!
I agree... now that you find the way just continue doing or double what you did to earn your first $10 and you will see your earning will increase continuesly.
