Anyone else feeling the effect of pagerank dropping to zero?

I've seen a few of my sites drop to zero in the past couple of days, but their search rankings stay just as high as before...

    anyone else?

Many people misunderstand how this works. Google has an internal PR for your site that they use to rank you on a day-to-day basis (Actual PR) and an external PR that is shown on the Toolbar and only updated every 3-6 months. When there is a (Toolbar) PR update, your rankings won't change because it's not the the PR they are using in your site ranking. The internal (actual) PR fluctuates much more frequently and is up-to-date in the rankings.

Yes this seem to happen just before the TLBPR is exported. I noticed this on one of my sites too. It has regained its previous PR though.

I have seen this on a couple of my sites, scares the crap out of me to be honest.

The cache for the page seems to have disappeared when looking from the toolbar too, but is ok if you search for something on the homepage of my site and click on the cache there.

Considering it is for only a small number of sites it worries me.

sorry, I was traveling around Sri Lanka and Singapore last week so I wasn't active here. I did a search for a while to see about anything on this topic, but didn't see anything so I posted.

    Thanks everyone!

Very common. I'm seeing PR0 on about 1/3 of the datacenters. Not to worry. I would bet that this time next week, or thereabouts, it will all be stabilized. It doesn't mean your PR is dropping to zero! :)

I think it was temporary. As of now there's no PR update on my site and blog.

Yea it might be that effect :D .. a few weeks now to the real update. Mostly by the last week of April we should see the green bar in the toolbar fluctuate.
