Yeah, you might have some luck getting your father and sister to sign up... but for any surfer it looks really amateurish. Might as well spend a few bucks at Templatemonster and get at least a template for it.
I have many template monster templates (I have paid for lots but never really used them!) Okey.. I have the perfect template.
Look at http://www.ev1.net/english/index.asp for an example of a professional layout. It's professional, there for thousands of us use them for our dedicated servers, instead of scrambling for the exit as soon as we see the layout!!! Remember, us pet dogs have a sixth sense, even though we may not know how to do tricks!!! We know what will make visitors leave a web site, and a layout can quickly do that, when it's a site trying to get our money!!
fryman, I think so. I have been doing hosting of some sort for a while (I used to do email hosting with a user base of over 4000 ). And yeah tips taken Nintendo!

*pze forgive me for the double post!! I looked at the text.* :::If you ever had a problem you would get a response to your problem in under 1 hour! Oh boy!! Are you ready to get up at 4 AM and help people!!!! :::what we do is offer a service we make a profit with. WHAT!!! You make money off me. I think I better look some where else!!!! :::WOne last important factor is uptime. ONE!!!! Time for spall chek!!!! :::we are sure of our uptime that if you don't get 97% uptime (Some sites say 99% but they don't count alot of things, such as server problems) IMO, NO professional web hosting company will offer less than 99% uptime. It's not hard at all to stay online. I've had just a few re-boots all year so far (With ev1.net), so total down time this year for me so far is maybe 30 minutes. Re-bootes are usully done with in 10 minutes. At 97% uptime, that's three hours of downtime every 100 hours, or one hour down every 33 hours. Users would be fliping out!!!! Just to make it easior, let's say you offered 96% uptime. At almost one hour downtime per day, that's almost 365 hours of downtime a year, ie 15 days of downtime a year. I'm no server pro yet my servers average this year looks to be less than one hour of downtime, out of 8,760.25 hours!!! pze re-adopt me.

I think a lighter color is usually better to attract customers. Looks too dark to me, but looks better then your original post for sure.
