    As the bad post report stated:

    bumper, no need to repeat the bid

    Bumping threads goes against posting guidelines. When you see someone bumping use the report bad post feature and alert us.

    If the bump is the last post in the thread, I delete. Otherwise I leave it.

    Bumps are made to bring thread to top and thus denying opportunity for other's threads to have top priority. There is no reason to reward bumper and leave his thread on top.

    Yup i am guilty and and so are many other folks, but bumping stating new facts like bidding end time remain(as its not ebay that time can be tracked and everyone has time zone difference) i think are ok, if not i shall stop doing doing ;)

    time zone difference makes no difference. the forum time is in your time, so as long as you say "auction closes in 48 hours", buyers can calculate that by themselves the end time. even ebay doesn't put an absolute time in every time zone, just PST, and X hours remaining.

    so that's a pretty bad reason to bump.

    Wooops my bad than, actually me evil than... But devin suppose a member just notices the thread, how can he calculate the 48 hrs cause trust me the time on the thread posted does not reflect your computer timestamp , its totally different. So, that users comes by and thinks bidding is over (cause lots of folks do not declare who is winner) and moves along. You think thats fair to the member who wanted to buy some item from you?

    But like i said me evil:p

    Isn't starting a whole new thread to complain about an iobfraction for bumping a thread as bad or worse than bumping the original thread?

    Did it occur to you to PM Smyrl to ask her this question? If I were a moderator here, I'd give you another infraction for this thread. :rolleyes:
