    Hi there,

I am looking for a very experienced ethical web designer who works in a fast accurate manner.

You will take care of any problems or changes I may need for my sites.

This is a p/t job that will increase in hours as I grow.

    You must have the following:

    * Working knowledge of xhtml for min. 1 year with the latest version.
    * Working knowledge of CSS for min. 2-3 yrs. with the latest version.
    * You are W3C & understand & make sure every site you work on is validated for all major browsers & a MAC, as well as for code structure & fast loading times by optimizing the graphics/images.
    * Advanced working knowledge of Dreamweaver MX2004 including working with templates & editable regions, min. (2-4 yrs.)
    * You can take any PSD & create it into a site with CSS & xhtml.
    * Working knowledge of flash an asset, but not mandatory
    * Working knowledge of PHP, but not mandatory
    * User interface knowledge an asset, but not mandatory

    Personality requirements:

    * Sharp & if something doesn't make sense, you ask questions, instead of just working robotically.
    * You make suggestions where you feel you can improve something.
    * Great communication skills (both reading & following instructions, listening on the phone & asking questions either verbally or via e-mail.
    * You are ethical & honest in how much you charge & what you do & don't know how to do.
    * You are friendly & down to earth (no egomaniacs)
    * You are ambitious & wish to grow with this company.

If you are offended by the adult entertainment industry, this is not a project for you.

When you PM me, please provide me with your hourly rate, portfolio & your experience with what I need above. Also please put this phrase "job-webmaster" at the top of your PM.

I thank everyone in advance & wish you all the best!

LOL, I always love how people who can't provide the skills or have the necessary personality blame the poster in telling them they are too picky instead of just realizing they aren't up to the job.

They also love to talk for others b/c they know everyone in the world, instead of just speaking for themselves.

    Thanks :)

Sounds like a good job offer to me. Looks like it will stop timewasters to me.

    Couple of questions:
    1. Is it inhouse or remote ?
    2. What are the initial number of hours ?

That's the idea & people who can't follow simple instructions aren't for me either.

    1. It's remote, so long as the work gets done asap as it's not complex work, unless the person doesn't know what they are doing.

    2. I can't give you a set amount of hours b/c it's just whenever I need something done.

It could be 5 hrs. the first week & 1 hr. the next. All I know is I know how long it should take someone who's on the ball, knows what they are doing, isn't a slow worker etc. Anyone trying to stretch out the hours won't get past that & for longer items I ask for a project quote & may or may not give it to that person if I can't budget it in at that time.

Unfortunately the work is piling up right now b/c I don't have anyone, but it should eaze off after that & then pick up again as new sites launch.

    Thanks & take care

    Michelle :)

It really isn't that picky. Anyone who has been in web developement for 5 years plus has a pretty good chance of being suitable for the job that has been advertised. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

    As for
, I personally know there are a good number of extremely talented individuals who use these forums that would be able to take on the job advertised above so please speak for yourself when someone advertises a job.

I'd be half interested in putting my hat in the ring if I weren't so busy with everything else. Good luck in the search, it sounds like a great opportunity.
