Hmm.. i'm looking to do some CPM advertising for a website of mine, i'm trying to figure out how many visitors i could get. Could anyone help me out?

Say i buy 666,000 impressions for $200.. and have a CTR of 5%

How many visitors do i get? If someone could provide me with a formula for this i'd be grateful

    Thanks!

heh yeah, I loved math though :D

I could also add that if you buy banner impressions, you'd be very lucky to get 5% ctr, it's usually below 1%, but obviously depends on the placing..

so, with say 1% ctr, you'll end up paying $200 for 6.6k visitors, which is $0.03 per visitor... with 5% ctr it would be below $0.01 per visitor :)

The click thru all depends on the sites you show ads at. If they are not related to your site it will be a low click thru rate.

also be careful on where your ads appear...if you are going on to pay on CPM

If your ad appears after a horizontal scroll or more than 2 vertical scroll then CTR can be even less..

Most important thing is to work on your Image Ads to make it stand out differently...especially on sites with CPM based deals..
