There are a lot of people using these forums, looking for advice, opportunities, and ways to make an income online. What I'd like to know is, do you market online for a living? You could argue that everyone markets to some degree for a living, but to be more specific, I was wondering how many users of this forum actually use online marketing techniques as their primary source of income - basically to pay the bills! Thanks in advance for your feedback. To start the ball rolling, I don't "market online for a living" by any stretch of the imagination. I'm going down the "offline" root - currently going through the interview processes for a couple of telecommunications companies, VOIP technology etc - and then I do some online projects on top of that, because I enjoy it!
Cool - that sounds interesting - I will have to keep your name in mind the next time I am promoting something.
The best thing about marketing online for a living is you can stick to genres that interest you. When you get sick of it, you can switch genres and it's like getting a new job, but with a bag of tricks that you picked up from your last one.
I retired from teaching after 27 years at the age of 49 to run my business which has 5 divisions right now. About 80% of my time is spent in online marketing with my digital goods and my own line of country foods. The other 20% is spent working offline with my country food products. Right now, I am building another online digital goods site and working on a few new private label food products. Jim
I am trying to live off the Internet for the past 5-8 years. But I have spent much more than what I have earned so far.
