Best "paid" web directories

Hi there

Thousands and thousands of free directories out there.

I was wondering whether anyone else out there can recommend a paid directory that has benefited them by driving extra traffic to their site.

Personal experiences of ones that work would be nice!

Directories dont help much in traffic sense..

Even though you can get traffic if you buy featured links..

Aviva, directorydump and alive directory are great.

but some times Aviva and Alive also bring you some traffic!

Yes I wouldn't submit just for traffic,even tho some directories get quite a bit of traffic It's still not that much in terms of high traffic

These two are probably the most promoted on the net,specially http://www.alivedirectory.com/

I don't think any one even comes close to chris in promotion

 

I didn't know people these days use Dmoz to search

 

Yikes really? All the hits i see from dmoz is just my own clicks i make when i am browsing dmoz for fun. Plus most traffic comes from google searches though not via directories.

though i have a paid directory but it is a very new one!!

try aviva, i have heard people says you get a lot of traffic from it

If you have the resorces for spending go to Malcolm's List. There you will have all the JUICE you need. All are THE BEST in TERMS of VALUE. You will never lose. Some suggestions are good here but they don't offer what the MALCOLM LIST Offers.

 

To be precise here is the list

 

When submiting to paid directories it is really about finding the balance of 'value', price vs. the benifit your recieve. There are lots of good paid directories out there worth submiting too. As for free directories look for the ones with unique templates and owners that promote them, they will likely turn paid in the future but it is nice to get in when they are free.

 

To be honest, the unique template aspect is very well applicable for paid directories also..

For sure, any directory that is being promoted well, will give you good results in future..

I couldnt belive when i came across some as i thought
that they would be gone,but sure enough they were available...

I belive that thier are some nice ones in here for branding or somthing
