I got accepted instantly, I was surprised at this but very happy that I didn't have to wait to be approved! :)

Anyone know how long it takes to get indexed in to their site directory?

    Not a fan of TLA.

They at first denied my site (been around for 10+ years with a PR3-4 fluctuating), and then apologised, saying it had been an error.

I then put in the code to run the ads, and they never actually worked, just showed the test ad the whole time.

I eventually removed it from the blog template.

I signed up a long time ago and got links right away. But over time the sponsors dropped off and TLA isn't doing anything to promote more purchases. I think by now my site's just one in the middle of thousands. Browsing around it looks like only the top listed sites (i.e. most expensive) sell a lot of spots.

It's very frustrating because I don't like any of their competitors.

That is very true, the only real way to get buyers is if you have a blog and inform your readers that they can buy ad space or it's probably going to be very difficult.

I'll probably try them out for a few weeks then look some where else :)

The hell with TLA , why should you give them 50% of what your link is worth

    Stop making others rich

Just sell your links on dp b/st/

Managing your sponsored links can take a fair amount of work. I agree that 50% is way too high, but who does as good a job and charges less?

I am thinking of signing up with TLA. Are you allowed to run there ads on the same page as adsense ads?

Yes. It's not a cost-per-click system, so it's allowed by Google.

Link sales seems to be very slow through TLA at the moment perhaps the bubble is bursting and advertisers are not seeing pay-back on their expensive links?

Yep, I think they only accept PR4 site. Because I have high traffic site but they didn't accept it(IMO) because of they're PR3. Anyone found these observation?
