Gambling link on a non-gambling site

    Hi,

I'd like to hear some opinions about having ONE poker/gambling related text link on a site that is not related to gambling. Since Adsense TOS do not allow Gambling or casino-related content, would that one gambling text link be considered as casino-related content?

In other words, should I remove that link in order to avoid being banned by Adsense?

    Thanks!

Technically I suppose the link, at least the anchor, is gambling related but it would be the strictest interpretation of 'gambling related content' I had ever heard of. I don't think they would do anything if you had such a link, but the risk is yours.

I agree with Countryboy's remarks on this one, BUT, it could also be one of those cases that cuts a very fine line.

Rather than risk a ban I'd suggest you ask Google direct.

You could put a page up, with the gambling link but without Adsense ads, and direct them to that for advice. Ask them if it'd be ok to add Adsense to that page.

If they say yes, save the e-mail in case of future problems.
