Paypal is the best, you might try egold, but egold to cash conversion is painful.

I could deal with the controversy, but e-gold makes it such a pain in the butt to fund accounts and take money out that it is really only a secondary option. Something that you may wish to offer for people who prefer it, as long as there is also another option available.

You need to enable the Merchant Services for your moneybookers account to accept credit cards. However, your customers can fund their account with their credit card then use the existing balance and pay you.

not quite. funds must be added from credit cards into your account before you can actually make a payment. with 2co the payments via cc are instant. so again 2co is a pro. but moneybookers works fine too. depending which are you real requirements.

The 2CO sign up fee of $49 is a small business expense and if you are serious about doing business, you should easily recover the cost. I believe they place it there because they only want to deal with serious people and it is a way of verifying your identity.

Yes, I would use 2CO as an alternative to Paypal, too. Although their charges (besides the application fee) are a bit higher, as far as I am aware of.

They have rejected my application when I first attempted it, problem with my credit card and I never bothered trying again.
