    Would be great. But it might get a bit crowded. DigitalPoint is very busy. And somebody would have to moderate it ALL the time...

    Devin I really hope you are only kidding here.

    Seriously Devin, I'm a member of many forums including namepros. If you are going to start insulting people based on what forums they choose to be part, I feel that's pretty immature.

    I truly hope you were kidding.

    The real issue in this threa is should DP have Chat. I'm at NP and frankly chat was never a big hit with me. I think DP is too busy to have that. It's a frill. DP is fine without it.

    i take back my words. however i am still tired of people who say that "forum X is like this so DP should follow suit". i'm a member of a couple of other forums too, and it's just that....each forum is good in its own way.

    live chat suggestion, fine. the reason that "because NP has it", that's lame imo.

    Devin I will agree that just becuse one forum does something doesn't mean all should follow suit. Remember that Namepros isn't as heavily accessed as DP.

    Also live chat works with Namepros because they offer live auctions. Kinda hard to do that with a forum thread.

    In terms of DP, it's fine the way it is quite frankly. I don't see the need.

    If it was done propper, like DeviantArt style IRC chat, then it would work, a crappy java live chat would be skrewed up. Anyway, just coz namepros has it dont mean DP should. DP is awesome just as it is.
