Best way to fund a MoneyBookers account?

Any suggestions on how to best fund a MoneyBookers account? I'm located in Canada - I tried a couple of credit cards - no go. What I'd like to do is to somehow fund from my PayPal account. Any suggestions on best way to do that? Thanks.

 

You can't directly fund your account from your PayPal account. You will have to either exchange with someone else or withdraw from your paypal and upload to your Moneybookers account using your bank. You can add your bank account to MB account without any problem.

 

Just upload the funds via bank transfer (follow the instructions on MB website), its fastest, easiest, legal and secure method of funding MB account

 

I was looking at Moneybookers and they don't seems to provide much options for people in North America.

Check the credit card billing address, they need to be exactly worded as that used by your credit card company. I realized that for me, adding a space or two somewhere sometimes got the transaction to fail.

 

Bank transfer is the best method,But the transaction should be in 100's.
as i know most of the credit cards dont work on MB.They have very less options of loading.No western union or Moneygram.

I believe Western Union and Moneygram are made more for sending money from one person to another. It does not have the automated feature.

Bank transfer can be expensive if you are moving small amounts.

 

I have always associated "Western Union" with "sending money home"
It may work as an alternative payment, and you can pay someone online these days, although it is costly if you plan for a permant use of their services.

 

Yeah, actually I see Western Union more like when you need emergency funds when overseas. It makes a nice mode of payment when you overspent, got robbed or saw something you really really need to buy when in a foreign land.

I see foreign domestic workers using WU to send a portion of their salary back home to feed their family.

Probably it is expensive because it is instant and it is mainly used for one-off payment.

 

You can try some of the exchange services available in the DP marketplace, but always be careful to avoid scammers..
