Hi everyone, just for interest's sake, how long does it take on average to manually submit your website to eg. 100 directories? 2 hours, 3 hours? Maybe some of those who offer their services out here can tell us. It would be interesting. Thanks! :)

If you wish to save yourself 10-20 mins for every 100 or so directories, then get yourself a semi-manual tool.

If you willing to do a littttle extra and take a extra 10-20 mins,

Get RoboForm > get the Pro version (you do not necessarily have to buy it!) > CONFIGURE ROBOFORM > and use a directory site tracker.

takes 3+ hours, but then slowly the time get's reduced, as you keep using the same sites again and again!!
but then it still is a very tiring job, with a lot of concentration!

It really depend on the directory script. And the categories structure of the directories.

I agree with brainet, it depends on the script and the category structure. If they are 100 Phpld directories using common category dumps, then not long at all using a form-filler. It's the custom scripts that take the longest to submit to.

You should consider using http://www.dirzap.com to speed things up. It's free, better than RoboForm, it tracks the directories you've already submitted to, lets you check when your link is approved, and there's nothing to install.

Do we need to submit to directory frequently or just once? On the other hand, I thought roboform is a password keeper. How do we use it to do the directory submit job?

let me think.. on an average I submit around 20 links, I think I take up to 20 min for a directory, so 2,000 min for 100 directories..

    2,000/60 = 33 hours. :D (manually)
