You know your doing good with Amazon when...

One of the reps contacts you via your Amazon store with an offer to sell your products through their Amazon program.

Sounds confusing, huh? Well, I get this email yesterday from my power tools store. It was a rep for Amazon and he sent me an email with how their program could help my store sell more products by listing them for sale through Amazon.

I replied back and told him my store was an Amazon affiliates store. He responded back apologizing for the confusion. My store looks so little like an Amazon affiliates store, he mistook it for an online retail store.

I was walking on water after that

edit: Oh, I see this is an older thread w/ the bum post not making much sense.

 

Gtech, can you choose the products you will "sell", or do you only tell Amazon the "store department"? I would love to do smth like your store, but don't know where to start... I did sign up for amazon and I put some "product links" and a "search link" to my site, but that is not really what I was looking for.

Hi BW, they are using Amazon Shop from Ghost Scripter. The script is modified quite a bit and I created the template. It's a lot of work creating a custom template, but worth the effort to be different. Thanks for the kind comment!
