adding google analytics to my wordpress site

    hiya,
    has anyone added google analytics to their wp site ?. I've never used it before and also this is my first wp site. I wondered which pages to add it on, do i just put it on every .php file thats in the theme i am using ?

    you would copy & paste the code into footer of your theme (normally named footer.php)

    I've added it to 2 wordpress sites so far. Throw the code into the footer after the </body> tag. Then wait a few minutes and Analytics will recognize it.

    thinking about it logically now, without my panic head, it stands to reason that its gonna just go on the footer seeing as thats shown on every page :eek: lololol

    header.php works too .. look for the "meta tags" ...It is an easy ad...

    OR ...There is a google adsense widget for the non dev people as well.
