    Decided to take a bit of a gamble & registered 3 NNNNN.co.uk domains. Picked up these NNNNN.co.uk (40000, 70000 & 90000), these were the last ones available ending in "0000". So what do you think? Comments on these names are appreciated.

    These are the sales of some numbered domains:

    5000.com $14,000 2007-03-16 Sedo
    3000.com $12,000 2007-02-08 Sedo
    7888.com $1,888 2005-12-28 Afternic
    77301.com $1,800 2005-07-29 Afternic
    4007.com $1,500 2006-10-18 Afternic

    I believe all those "sales" displayed at Sedo and Afternic are fake.

    I have several number-domains that tried to sell in the past but nobody was interested in pay at least the registration fee :(

    I wish you to sell all your domains at XX,000 $ but I'm not so sure about theese Sedo's & Afternick stats...

    Hardly believe that someone pays out 14,000 $ for 5000.com, as -I believe- this number doesn't rapresent something particular... (or I go wrong about 5000 ?:confused: )

    IMO, 4 digit numbers like 5000.com is easier to remember & more valuable than a NNN.com like 267 or 392 as they are harder to remember.

    I'm sure I'm getting wrong, but I find more brandable 267 or 392 than 5000.
    Reason being the way you pronounce it while promoting:

    "Remember, www. two-six-seven dot com"
    or
    "Remember, www. three-nine-two (or betta three - ninetytwo) dot com"

    against

    "Remember, www. five thousand (I'd rather prefer fifty-double zero or five triple zero) dot com".

    Well, it's my humble opinion, but I find more memory-imprinter the first two (the value comes as a consequence..).
