ok, there are 56 left. I'll sell them all for $425.

That is 7.60 each. It is one week revenue! It was with adsense on them at least :(

If you don't want them all, prices are as above still, ie $15, $10, or $8 depending on volume.

I dont want to taint the thread, infact this could be seen as advice. I have seen a lot of proxy owners banned simply because their proxies are too basic. From what I can see on yours, only the title and colors change from site to site. If you were to put more time and effort into developing each one Im sure the rewards would be much greater, but unfortunately thats too late for the OP.

venturefox, you may be right. I wish I knew this earlier :(

Well, this sounds very unlikely to me. Google are disabling adsense ads on sites they think not fit. it looks like they are not really banning accounts for that.
Its interesting though, but do you have any data to back up that proxy owners are banned simply because their proxies are too basic ?

I dont have any evidence, that would be impossible to gather with the standard google emails, but I have spoke with a lot of big proxy network owners and a few of them were banned. The ones who were banned seemed to have the most basic proxies, with adsense and a minimal amount of text. Although yours admittedly does have one replicated paragraph outlining a proxies usage. Could you think of any other reason your adsense was banned? I wont put any more into this thread, just trying to inform potential buyers, good luck with your sale.

I really cant see why I was banned. It is unfair, since I did nothing against their TOS (unless I missed the bit about replicated content).

Invalid clicks may have been from a disgruntled member on here? Someone I pissed off about something? I dont know, cant think of anyone who would do that. Dp is a pretty freindly community, so i doubt that that is the case..

Its unfair yes, the problem is that Google probably had a good reason to ban you, same if its this or that. Stop thinking about it and get yourself another account in a company name or your relatives name.

Actually, I'm getting out of it for a while. I'm going to focus on uni for a year, maybe someday I'll get another account. At the moment I dont want to give google any space, anywhere for their ads.

I'm sure they had a good reason, I just wish they'd tell me something more than "invalid clicks". The fact remains that I am being punished for something I didn't do - unless they reveal something I have done wrong.

I'm over it now. Who needs an extra US$1000 anyway..

nope, only on the front page. I know that you aren't allowed ads on proxied pages, because of the types of sites that proxy users may visit :)

I had 2 or 3 ad units on the front page only, producing all my revenue.

I haven't been banned yet. It's all about placement and you should always have AdLogger on your websites to block invalid clicks. AdLogger makes it so that you can limit an IP from clicking your ads more than (( x )) amount of times.

Adlogger would have been a very good idea for me, and i recommend anyone using adsense, particularly on proxies, get it on there. My placement was, in my opinion (feel free to contest this) fine.

don't buy it sorry heres what i think you did and tell me if im wrong.

1 )all the domians i checked that your selling were registered on: 04-Mar-07

2 ) you bought those domains for 99 cents from godaddy as they have a special.

    3) you put up free templates or made them yourself dont know and are now selling em for 15 each telling us you were banned and you have no idea on what sites are doing what.

people that have sites making 30 - 80 know what site it comes from so dont give me that.

i smell BS and i wouldn't buy one site from you as i can easily do what your doing but better.

$15 - .99 = $14.01 profit for you for what? buying the domain and putting up a free template? dont think so and you cant guarantee anything? no stats? no revenue proof?

your looking to make a nice profit of people who dont know anything. becareful people. and your telling me you cant post cpanel stats? yes you can but you dont want to as youll get cought. oh well thats my 2 cents.

who knows i could be wrong. let me know

Ok - 30-80 dollars total, NOT each. That is the first thing. That means that they all make similar amounts (relatively).

If you read the thread, you will see that I have already said when they were made (look, you'll find it)

I did buy the domains on special - that matters why?

I made the templates myself - I'll come back to this.

I WILL NOT sit at my computer taking 60+ * 4 screenshots (awstats - traffic, countries, referrer, etc). If you want stats for a domain, ask. I've sent a few out to people who have asked.

I would appreciate it if someone who bought a few came back and told everyone how it is going.

Have you ever been banned by google? They tell you nothing. They haven't responded since I emailed them. All they tell me is "Invalid Clicks". As I said, 60+ sites, hard to know which one.

I will post Cpanel stats on request. Choose a site at random and I'll put them up for the world to see. I wont lie, like I said they dont have high traffic. They do earn well though. Which brings me to my templates.

People spend a lot of time on templates. They pretty them up with images, and make them memorable. Not me. Does a repeat visitor click ads? On a proxy? I aimed for 0 return visits. If I wanted repeats, I would advertise, wouldn't I?

These are my final adsense stats from March, before I was banned. I think I was going for 2-3 more days, but I hadn't downloaded a CSV for a while. You choose whether or not to beleive me (EDIT - earnings are the fianl column):

    20/03/2007 5107 332 6.50% 11.65 59.5

Good CTR, huh! Wow, pretty good ECPM too! I'll attach my entire earnings if people want to look at that. Took me a while to get going, huh!

What do you (buyers) really want. A pretty website, with 50,000 uniques per day, that uses up bandwidth like no tomorrow? or a website that noone has heard of, uses next to no bandwidth (I would say on average they use 5gb per day absolute max - my biggest day, with all of them running, was a whisker over 40gb.

Return visitors to a proxy only running adsense are the enemy. All they do is use it (sounds stupid I know). I didn't put these websites online to be a good Samaritin, I did it because I wanted money. In the process, school kids got to go on myspace. I even blocked Iran (who need proxies to look at anything - sorry Iran, I cant afford the BW) so that I wasn't wasting bandwidth on users who would not earn me $.

If every visit is a first time visit, the user is far more likely to click an ad than when they know exactly where it will be every time they go back to their favorite proxy.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Also, I'm about to PM various members and ask them to post their experiences here. Watch this space.
