Hello.... Not to long ago a thread was started about joining together in a Group or Network so as to form an alliance of sorts and i commented in that thread that thier was such a thing already built... well i finally found the link and without further adu.. http://www.isedn.org/ I dont know much about them but did apply a few months back and the paperwork was sent to myself but never had time.... to take a look at it. pleas tell me what you guys think or if it could be helpful to you..... Green Luv always accepted thx malcolm
Maclom some green luv on your way soon as i get pass the too much rep spreading limitation for 24 hrs. @ yes it could be helpful to us if you let them know that so many other directories exists out there. The more exposure u get the better your site becomes. But to be frank no idea on the url u provided first time heard of that url
i know about ISEDN a long time ago...but till now i've no time to fill-up the agreement...appreciate other feedback on the benefit of being member of isedn.
We used it for about a year on one of our directories lots of submissions but really very little of the quality we were looking for so we just let it fade into history Does not/or did not at that time seem to produce the type of client who wanted to pay to submit
The big push at ISEDN is the text ads ... a fixed price alternative to Google ads. Something like $4 per keyword per month. I don't know if the directory owners get to share the ad profits ... but they must get some traffic from the email campaigns and advertising. I have tried them as an advertiser and received a few clicks (very few) once in a while.
Just applied, thanks for the info. added to your rep. it sent you up a little green block as well, I'm still stuck on one.
I'm a member... and it's worth it just for the huge pr backlinks alone ... actually n0 - you guys shouldn't do it... don't take my PR away, hehe. But for real, barry's a great guy and they run a biiiig network with big perks. (Just don't tell Barry I sent you... he's sick of hearing from me) lol
Yes--Malcolm --I started that thread-- and its really nice of you to share about this. I'll be studying them thoroughly next week and see what they really offer to private directory owners like us. Green rep --of course for such a nice job
I've been a member for quite a while and I have never experienced any drawbacks to being a member. Totally agree that Barry is a very upfront guy and works hard to keep everything in order. Not much is required and there are plenty of benefits. If you want to see the page you'll get for selling text links, see mine here. It's kind of a passive income generator, but it beats the heck out of GA'ds.
