Hi, PayPal does not support my country (Romania) so I can't make a PayPal account, let alone verify a credit card with them. And I need to send money to PayPal users. Is there a way to do this by only using my credit card online ? Are there any services that deal with this kind of issue ? I find it really frustrating to see that everyone only accepts paypal but I cannot pay for anything.

PayPal users can't accept payments directly sent from credit cards. but if you have a paypal account you can send payments via credit card as well (paypal credit card payment). As you are saying you don't have paypal account there are few alternatives to paypal like : www.moneybookers.com www.e-gold.com (not a good alternative though) www.2checkout.com (Credit card payment processor) hope this helps/
I would actually suggest www.e-bullion.com instead of e-gold. Much more secure and is virtually hack proof when using the cryptocard.
Only members from the 103 supported Paypal countries can use it to pay other members either via credit card or from the paypal balance. So officially you cannot make the purchase through paypal.
I have the same problem, from Romania we can't send money to DP user paypal account because Romania is banned. Your suggest to use alternative services like MB or E-Gold. No more people from DP accept moneybookers or 2CO and , in general, the paypal alternatives doesn't more trusted by DP members. So, no more chance to make more deals if you (or we) don't have paypal account.

The way to go is sign up PP US with a US address, then get and add a US Bank account. Then always sign in using a US IP or VPN. It is unfortunate PP can not open its service to all countries. And as long a it is this way, many will try to find a way around as everyone prefers to pay with PP.
I know this thread is outdated, but I have to ask. It's 2010 now (from the future lol), and are Romanians still banned from Paypal? Cause I just notice that ther is a Romania country option in the registration page for Pay Pal.

Yes you can! The paypal user has to generate a button for paying with paypal, like "Donate" or something similar, than you have to click this button and choose "pay with credit card" or "i dont have a paypal account". Than you fill the form for paying with a credit card. This could work, im not sure of that, but i think it could work.

The OP is from 2007 ... but anyway here's a fix: The person wanting to RECEIVE the money can create an invoice inside paypal and email it to the person wanting to PAY them. They can make the payment online via paypal or credit card. If you have a paypal account and encounter this problem, simply go to this Tab: request money > invoice > create hope this helps.
