I know that Google's rules say that your site has to be for purposes beyond simply making Adsense revenue, but they seem to rarely enforce this. Have any of you had a site rejected by Google due to not having any (or enough) affiliate links or other revenue makers? It's just so much easier to rely on Adsense. I don't think you understand what they mean when they say "not made for Adsense". It has nothing to do with how many other sources of revenue or affiliate links you have.
GG is not very strict in enforcing anything untill it comes to case of Click Fraud. Most of the sites do get passed by Adsense programs, untill its a big shady and shitty sites. And even though few scraper sites which gets filtered by lenient Adsense guys could also participate in Adsense program by displaying dsense code which got approved from some other quality site. If they would have been really serious for filtering out scraper sites, Publishers would have been asked to get approval for each site before displaying ads on it.
Well, the site does manage to squeeze at least a little content between the two sets of google as. Put a 3rd one in the middle there and then maybe its a bit over the top

Does the site have a point? TBH, I would remove the ads, add some content then put them back, to avoid risking a ban, esp as you have linked to it in a forum that G read
I don't get that statement. The Google TOS doesn't say anything about having other affiliate links or other revenue makers. Perhaps you don't understand what a lot of people consider content doesn't necessarily just mean links to other ads and products to buy.
You don't even need that.. My game sites have about 10 words on them and a flash file.. the instructions are in the flash (googlebot cant see them) and there is only 1 page, the game. G does not have a problem with this cos the site is not "built for adSense" without the ads, there would still be something to do, the site would still work as a site. Maybe games are an exception.
ummm... I only saw 3 adsense blocks and no adlink block on that site, you are missing out! I believe you can have 3 adsense blocks and 1 adlink block per page right! LOL...all in good fun. Take Critters advice....add some more content, etc...you'll be good.
The upside is, is that if the site gets visitors, they'll click on an ad, as the site is about making money, and all the ads being shown are MLM, money making type ads, so the CTR will probably be pretty high. Get some real content on there, and there is a potential winner. Do some real research into MLM and stuff, making some pages, add some good content, and you are ahead of 99% of the MLM sites out there.
But you would still have to pay for it, as Google takes a share of the bid too And why not just use a manual text-link made to look like adsense? Josh

IDK, I guess you didnt understand what happend. A text link that doesnt look like adsense wont get you banned, thats just a text link.... Not sure if you either mis-read what we wrote or if you quoted the wrong person
yes, this is doable. the trick is make adword ads (with click attracting wording) that buys low priced simular keywords, and a sh*tty site with high paying keywords ads. I saw many many sites are doing that now a days.
I #%$@^*& hate those sites that are only there for the adsense revenue. They are totally against the whole principle of Adsense. Google will get around to banning them because Advertisers aren't going to continue to waste money on adds that are on crap sites. As an advertiser I expect my ads to be on sites that are real and relevant to what I am advertising. Because Google can't guarantee that my ads are going to only go on quality sites I don't use content ads. From reading around the forums more and more advertisers are getting educated and also turn off the content option as the conversion rate from those sites is next to nothing.
