I am planning to buy a 5M bulk email list and software.... I will advertise 1 to 5 links in my sites where they can go directly where there is an adsense ad. For example link to 5 of my directory pages.... is it against adsnes TOS using this bulk email?
I saw nothing in the TOS Forbidding this, only thing they mentioned was your werent allowed to put the adsense ad directly in the e-mail. One thing though, Your hosting company surely has something prohibiting spam in their TOS, might end up losing your domain instead of your Adsense account.
So called 3rd party "opt-in lists" will still generate spam complaints. Most recipients won't recognize you as an opt-in. You likely can't prove to your host (or yourself) that your email was opt-in, but it doesn't matter as most hosts will act first and ask questions later (maybe) when confronted with spam complaints. Technicalities won't protect you from SPEWS.
The only thing you need to worry about is not getting your website blacklisted and such due to the bulk emails. Regardless or opt-in or not, many sellers just bs about it being opt-in. Unless you got a full info then it should be fine but again it will be considered as spam if reported multiple times to the black lists.
I send out email once per week to about 1/4 million members of sites taht have adsense. Never had a issue
I've been considering building a mailing list from my site and releasing new articles twice weekly, pointing them to the page of the article of my site, with AdSense on. I think if you have a big list, this could be quite a clever way of generating a little more income - it's not like you're asking them to buy anything, and I'm sure a high percentage will click the adverts after they've read the articles. Who wouldn't after a 'taster' article? This also offers *some* protection if your site should drop out of the rankings. At least you have a huge responsive mailing list to continue to direct to your site for various reasons. I'm becoming more paranoid about search rankings by the day. Get their e-mails, and get 'em now. You could divert a few thousand twice/week to any new page or article you've created, and who knows - perhaps the odd two may end up being very high paid for terms (CPC). Who can say, folks........ who can say. Pete
I have boses at servermatrix, theplanet, and ev1. I have sent out alot of email and never had them setup in 1 time. just make sure you adhere to the rules like easy to opt out or unsubscribe and stuff like that and you should be fine. also if you are really worried about getting in trouble you can always just use a open relay or find a wireless network somewhere that is unprotected =P
Me personally, I'm hosted by a friend who runs a hosting company, so I'm well covered there. And no, if all the subscribers are double-opt in, they can suck my balls any way they please if they don't like what they've signed up to recieve. Hm, that's no way to talk about my money givers er I mean potential riches er um ou er.. I mean visitors now, is it? Pete
Say what ? Oh aye Mr Shoe - that program you used to generated that .pdf earlier .... where can I get a hold of that, is there a trial version or anything? Pete
http://www.axandra-web-site-promotion-software-tool.com/ there is a free demo. I bought it a long time ago when I first started getting into optimizing my pages. I still find it useful. I am sure many seo experts would laugh at me =P
yea i love how it compares what your doing with what the top people are doing. 1 reason i think most seo "experts" write it off is cause it puts them out of work I have found alot of success with it.
hi shoemoney... do you buy opt in ads? can you reffer me to a good opt-in service where I can advertise.
