Why splogs work?

According to wikipedia: Spam blogs, sometimes referred to by the neologism splogs, are artificially created weblog sites which the author uses to promote affiliated websites or to increase the search engine rankings of associated sites.

1. Its damm easy to create one. Register a free blog account, start importing others feeds, get some links. Paste Ads. And automatic generation of cash flow will start.

2. Google and Yahoo had a dedicated department to fight against them, but they also have a dedicated department to finance them. (read Adsense and YPN)

3. Most of us are interested in earning quick money.

4. Splogs are so boring, unethical and unoriginal that once someone open it, he or she wants to leave it immediately. Adsense ads come in handly here. Infact they have better CTR than good sites.

Which of these four reasons do you think, is the best answer.

We all hate splogs. They steal all the our content from our blogs, they add only crap to the internet. Still the creation of splog is increasing day by day...

I wish I could have a way to stop people from stealing all my content to promote their junk splogs/websites.

Better not to do short-term success websites.

 

It's difficult to chose. But this is the world and that's are the people...

 

If you're looking for unethical ways to make money, I can think of quite a few that are much easier (and far more interesting) than splogging. May land you in jail, but hey ... life's a journey, right?

 

Any ways spam is going to be out one day.... so better to build SE friendly blogs and websites and promote the website.... always to look for long term not for short term..

 

Nope, not without incoming links, and a lot of them. You will find it harder to make money from spogs than from most other sites. Splogs does not really work in small scale operations (like only 100 of them).

 

People only work on Splogs and Spam on large scale operation. When it takes seconds to create splogs (thanks to all free softwares), people generate millions of Splogs everyday.

The worst things is Google Adsense and YPN is responsible for financing these splogs.

 

Splogging is for morons who can't be arsed working and want to earn a quick $$
