Strange payments

Ok I literally just started adsense and the last two days have been strange:

Yesterday: CPM 855 Clicks 7 CTR 0.82% Earnings US$2.77

Today: CPM 1,320 Clicks 7 CTR 0.53% Earnings US$0.66

Does this make sense? Surely today should be more if anything....not way less.

It does make sense - some ads pay more than others, simple as. You've got no way of knowing whether high paying or low paying ads are shown on your site either.

 

I think it's normal. Even for the same ads, if the clicks come from diferrent referrers ( from SE or direct), the earning may differ also.

 

The cost of clicks could be from 2-3 cents to tens of dollars, so nothing is strange here.

 

that is normal, not all ads pay the same rate. worst of all, you may be hit by smartpricing. *how long have your site been online with adsense?*

Btw, you should edit your post, you can't show CTR, ecpm and no. clicks in public. According to google it is highly confidential information and you might get into trouble posting it here.

I think google has different ways of rating clicks, some payment used to be like that.

 

Adsense payment are varying a lot, get used to it.

 

cpc prices may varry from day to day.
