    I am selling a huge traffic site snurff.com its a directories top site. Don't have anything to show for revenue.
    In my point of view there is 2 good things about this site
    First it gets very huge traffic in march 87243 unique visitors and 211445 hits you can see in stats more details
    Second it is a old domain registered in 30-aug-2004

    Sites gets down many time in previous month by host cause of traffic. If you know how to monetize traffic or how to use this site in directories it would be good for you.

    When I check Alexa ranking , it shows ranking 2,377,645. I wonder why that low, if you got massive traffic. Your weekly rank is 862,791.

    If you see closely on alexa you will see why it ranks low it was down in between many time in jan-feb and may be cause of that however now again traffic is boosting up.

    From an old sell thread:

    "The site uses a script that other users link to from their website(s), so awstats counts those requests as visits, but they are not actual visits,they are connections to this page "button.php?u=whatveruser" and the logs count them as visits and they are not."

    Thanks for clearing i had no idea that this site was already listed here for sale on 40000$ :)
    It looks true now i understood a big portion of hits comes like that but still if you see the referal list it has good amount of incoming link from pr directories.

    I decrease the bin to 200$

    Hmm, at first I was going to make a post claiming that its bull - absolutely impossible to have that kind of traffic with such an alexa ranking. But it makes sense that Awstats picks that up as hits too.. Thanks for clearing it up :)
