    Hi,

I can't say too much at this point but I'm looking to get some feedback from PPC Publishers and Advertisers.

What are you looking for in a PPC Site?

If google is the best do you really need more features than they offer?

If you had to name 3-5 key features what would they be?

Thanks for your feedback everyone. :)

    Regards,

By "ratings" i'm guessing you mean you want to see a good CPC and not all $0.01-$0.03 clicks?

That's Very understandable. I think what needs to happen for this is to start keyword bidding at $0.05 CPC and to make sure you pass a good percentage of advertiser revenue downstream to your publishers.

Revelent ads requires alot of advertisers. Don't think that just because they're at your site that they don't have interest in other things though.

Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming!

Lol, I hate affiliates who ask for your Tax info. Paypal options are good on such affiliate sites.

I love any PPC site offering $1,000,000 per single click :D. So the CPC is a main factor. Then comes the CTR, which depends on how targeted your ads are. Third is the flexibility in selecting the mode of payment. It should support Paypal, CC and direct check. The work I should be doing to optimize the ads should be minimal.
Even if all the factors are there, I may not go for that service, if their customer service is bad. So good customer service is another thing.

Yes, well, I'm not sure that's possible. :D

Customer service is not something that's usually brought up for PPC.

Would you rather a direct email, a ticket system, your own sales agent?
What are some things you would need to contact customer service about?

    Good feedback guys.

Thanks, and keep them coming! :)

If you have any plans for that plz do let me know :D

By customer support I mean that it should not take ages to get reply to a question I've asked. Remember that this deals with money, so every one would appreciate a prompt reply. Say, I've some problem with ads not getting displayed on my site. I ask for help and it takes you 3 days to reply, do you think I will stay with you after that?

But, as far as PPC is concerned, targetted ads is the most important thing and then comes the CPC.

    Wish you all the best.

    Thanks Aragorn,

    What about features?
Would you be happy to have all the main features that google offers currently?

I don't think anyone needs more than what they provide and they do a very good job of making it simple to use.

You just want it to work right?

In my opinion simplicity of use is the best feature. And adsense is simple to use. The ability to customize the ad by using the mouse (I mean without manually entering the values), the ability to create channels, templates are all some of the most important features of Adsense. There should be ability to see the stats, and it should update as fast as possible (not daily, if possible every 1 or 2 hours maximum), competitive ad filter. I think the currently available features of Adsense is a good base to begin.

And about the ads shown, I personally hate those ads which try to cheat users to visit a site. I mean those ads that say, "You have won $1,000,000,000, Click here to claim it", kind of ads. There should be options to decide whether or not to show adult oriented ads.

Don't try to include every features before launching itself. You can improve in due course of time.

To add, dont launch too early, nothing like a bad first impression on the internet to ruin the rep.

Yep. Beta test it very well before launching. It may cost you some money, but do it. If someone thinks that your service is bad and creates a thread in a popular Webmaster forum like DP, you are finished.
