Anyone from Pakistan ?

Hi guys i m from pakistan (Islamabad). I would like to know that anyone of you got any amount from google. If yes then how long will it take to recieve the cheque. I have seen some guys talking about 21 days to india. I was curiouse to know about pakistan. Is it requires 20+ days for the cheque to reach.

I use the express shipment, takes 3 days, but you know it wont get lost that way.

I have recieved check as stated it was with express delivery though.

I recieved the pin by regular mail after weeks though.

You must have a bank account here in Pakistan, best to open one in dollars.

 

I also get the checks via DHL, I never received it via regular mail so I've permanently switched to DHL. Any bank can cash it for you, but you need a bank account there and it takes around 30 days before you get your money.

 

The cheque arrives usually between 28th - 30th of each calender month if you choose secured express delivery (thats $25 additional fee). For the standard delivery it takes normally 12 days to arrive (thats 9th -10th of next month).

You can cash you cheque by depositing it in your bank account. Will take 25-40 days for the amount to be transferred. The best way to clear you cheque is to sell it in kisakhwani bazar (Peshawar) at a lower exchange rate. If the current exchange rate is Rs. 60 for 1USD, they will pay Rs. 59 for 1USD + an additional Rs.900/cheque. Quite useful when you need quick cash.

 

My checks are usually cleared in about 10 Business days.

 

You must have dollar bank account, I have Rupees one, may be thats why It takes around 30 days.

 

Whts that kisakhwani bazar (Peshawar) ?

I have never heard about it before. Is that some Money exchange Market or something like that. But i m living in Islamabad i think that will be too long to go to Peshawar...

Is there anyway i can get the amount of the Cheque in 5 days for something like that and without opening any $ account. BTW i have a RS account with HBL. Is that possible that i can submit that cheque which i recieve by mail to my bank account...?

You never heard of kisakhwani bazar? that means u never been to school....(kidding). It is a money exchange market. I too live in islamabad but guess what.. when you have to clear a cheque of say 7-8k or even 2k then it is hardly a 2.5 hours drive. see what i mean?

You don't need a dollar account to clear your cheque. Any regular current or saving account will work. You can even deposit it in your Dad's account if you don't have one yet. Hope this helps

Hello, Mubin, Its strange for me that your cheques are being cleard in 10 days, plz tell me which type of bank a/c you have and in which bank you have bank a/c.

As Regarding me, I am from Faisalabad and I have bank a/c in Habib Bank and its normally takes about 45-90 days for cheque clearing, I have have a/c in Bank Al-Falah and its takes about 40-50 days for cheque clearing.

Plz tell me how you clearing your cheques in 10 days.

I think because he has account in foreign currency. I have also used HBL and it takes around 45 days if you have rupee account.
