What CPM do you get on Arcade sites?

I would appreciate if you could give a hint about what CPM (that is, revenue per 1000 visitors) you get with YPN?

If you don't want to disclose your CPM, could you at least tell me your Cost per Click?

I'm asking because I have a US targeted arcade site that is performing very badly with adsense, despite tons of traffic, so I'm thinking about applying for YPN. Just want to know whether it's worth the effort.

regardless of whether its worth it or not, it is highly doubtful ypn is going to accept yet another arcade site. they are turning down high quality high traffic sites as though they were cheap mfa's. that doesnt mean you shouldnt apply. im just saying that cpm and rpc based on other peoples arcade site really doesnt matter. also, 99% of ypn arcade sites use ad targetting to target ads from other higher paying categories and do not target arcade or games. with this in mind, there will be no consistency in cpm or rpc for arcade sites (unless they are targetting the same category).

you may, although against tos, want to seek out a partner if you have alot of US based traffic.

Arcade sites have a low CTR and CPM no matter what you do. Most people visit arcade sites to play the game, not to click on ads.

Theres an excess of arcade games on the internet as well, CPM and CTR will always be low for the most part. Thats not to say if you did a niche like an arcade with only classic games, or shoot em up games, you might get better results.

No matter what you do? LOL! You can risk getting your YPN terminated by targeting medical ads and place images next to them.. and get a 5% CTR with a $50+ CPM :) I tried it..

Well I own an arcade site and make around $40 a day on 2,500 visitors. And the "people come to arcade to play games not click ads", comment was pretty stupid. Tell me one person who would log on to ANY type of site to click ads. heh.

So take these #'s and figure out what you will $40 a day at an average of 29K impressions.

lol. why dont you try to improve your ad integration? with minor effort you could easily increase that.

Good suggestion. I increased my arcade dollar amount by ~33% just by changing a few things!

It pays to spend a day or so optimizing and testing. :)
