can't receive money!! ( Paypal)

    I am from Maldives and have a varified paypal send only account. Due to country limitation I can't receive money from others. So is it possible to receive money by addin an e*trade account to my paypal account.

    Well, that will still not work. Adding etrade account does not suddenly make your account workable if your country is not permitted to receive funds. The thing to do is to wait for them to permit it in the future or use another payment system like http://www.moneybooker.com .

    ive got the same problem!
    i also register at moneybookers but
    people cannot pay me via moneybookers, they can only pay me via paypal.
    any suggestions?

    edy, iam having same problem as yours.. i-e belong to a non paypal country.. i recommend dont go after tricks :) Paypal is much smarter than we normally think. find a trustworthy person from a paypal country to recieve payments on your behalf and send them to your moneybookers etc ! :)

    It's a real pain in the neck. I am British but now live in Serbia, where PayPal is not even close to setting up shop. So I had to register as if I was back in Britain with a UK address. Really annoying, but some countries are just too high-risk for them I suppose (though that isn't the case for Moneybookers... Perhaps they will increase in popularity for this reason)

    Use Western Union to receive money as a last resort.
    Or you could also take a look at Ikobo.com, their service isn't bad either.

    Do't even think to play around with paypal if you are not from a paypal operated country. Messing along with such things can lead to your account getting limited and thereby losing even the "sending" facility that you right now enjoy.

    You could go for either e-gold or moneybookers payment.

    You can ask people to Bank Transfer or Wire transfer or Western Union or something like that to pay you...

    DONT EVER MESS WITH PAYPAL..afterall they handle your money, and if they think you're cheating, they will keep the money.

    im in a country where we are only allowed to send payments too.. what i do is whenever i sell something i let the buyers pay to my friend's paypal account and i ask my friend to send the money to me via xoom (where my country can receive payments) :)
