Hi friends ,what is the high ctr you have got with adsense.? Are there any adverse affects of getting high ctr.? I have site which is getting roughly 20% ctr ,i never generated an invalid click, i can say i have written the best content one can find for the topics i have written.I think i am getting high ctr due to better adplacement , relavent content and because of the visitors who dont know much about adsense.

Is it bad to have high ctr...?

I think you should be ok as long as you don't click on your own ads or ask others to do it. It is possible for some sites (usually with poor content or an excessive amount of ads) to have a high CTR and I am sure that Google is aware of it.
As long as you don't try to cheat the system, you should not have much to worry about.

I'd say if you have a CTR of 40%+ google will check it out, can't say that for sure... but iv read about it happening to people.

Doesn't mean you'll be banned, they are just being careful!

just saw a site with 46% CTR!!! as long as is legal cklick activity, i believe you don't have to worry. Google WILL CHECK accounts like that, i'm sure, but publisher is safe i think.

anyway it's just a great job, achieve a 40%+ CTR...

If it is genuine traffic and you are not violating Google's TOS then you have nothing to worry about. If the clicks are not generating sales for the advertisers then the CPC of those ads might go down but you should not get banned for playing by the rules.

    Cheers!

Also depends upon traffic. Low traffic sites can get higher CTR just by the nature of the mathematical beast.

Its is a good think to have a high CTR. If your traffic is legitimate and clicks are natural - enjoy it. :)

One day one of my channels once generated a 350% CTR. I'm still in Adsense.

The goal of a publisher is to GET CLICKS. Don't be afraid of earning money.

High CTR does not equate to a ban as long as everything is fair and legal. Even on this forum people CTR seems to vary anywhere from less than 1% to as high as 20%, or sometimes even more.

I've emailed adsense about the concern as well because I used to get as high as 30-38% CTR, they said it's ok because CTR depends on different ads and your site content. Sad to see G is making pp live with fear even when they're doing good

Google is holding you back in more ways than you know. As far as I can tell, there is no worries getting 30-40% CTR. However, I have had many pages with much better CTR with no adsense.

Ads have about 7 words to convince someone to click on them. You have all the space you need. I can consistently get 80%+ CTR from landing page to merchant.

Google is not scaring anyone as far as I can tell. It is AdSense publishers that scare eachother on a daily basis.
