Which sites / programs generate income??

    Hi

I am looking to build some sites that generate enough income that in a few years i am doing well for myself, currently i have an art site that i started promoting about 6 months ago and i am getting a steady traffic, approx 200 visits per day and growing.

i have started a free article directory that i will promote in the same way and i am using adsense on there in the hope to generate some income.

if i can get a small amount of income from each site i design i will be happy, but what sort of sites are good for generating visitors and what programs do you use to generate income? adsense is about the only one i have used.

    Kathryn.

A proxy is a site where people can go to hide their IPs or get around sites that are blocked on the computer(kids in school use it to get on myspace and arcades).

Good question. I liked to know the answer to this question as well. I have a great domain name that I was thinking of using on a proxy site.

There are millions upon millions of kids who use them at school. The proxies they use wont last forever because they get banned so they need new ones.

Dating sites do well. Also, "free" programs do well.

Great list so far. Another way to approach this would be to build your monetization strategy based on the mix of traffic your sites get. Work in reverse--sculpt your sites around your traffic.

Your close, I have seen it time and time again in this forum that people are intent on building traffic, yet fail to track their advertising, nor have a plan of action for when their "large" amounts of traffic hit their pages.

What I see is the blind leading the blind, and no one actually learning anything of value. Instead just a lot of peddling crap advice to people who may actually want to learn how to earn online, but will have gotten no where in 5 months for the reasons I stated above. Sad....

I know you're peddling your PAID forum or whatever but there's no need to bash others to get ahead. I didn't bash you when making my posts no need to get on my case.
