I've no idea what this is about but when I clicked on 'New Posts' I got the following:

    Beats me.

Are you trying to sneak a peak at my photos before the weekend, Shawn? :p

You probably had alt held while you click it. I do it TONS of times. Alt+click a link downloads it. (In Firefox, that is.)

Actually, come to think of it, I was trying to view this thread, not new posts
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=21620

I was in 'New Posts' when I did it.

Drawing on all of my years of exerience, I would hazard a guess that it's probably something to do with ... me, heh. Although I don't know what.

Have you tried alt-clicking a link and seeing if it does it again?

Yes, I've tried every combo I can think of. As far as I know, I only right-clicked to open in a new page the first time.

Don't worry about it, the server and your browser couldn't come to a "conclusion" about what mime type to send it as, so, it sent you a application/octet-stream which your browser has no choice but to ask you to save (because it can't show executables).

Nothing to see here, move along.

I got the same thing the other day using Firefox. I switched to IE, and it worked fine.
