I'm very glad to read that everything is OK, but you should know that a lot of pages on your server are returning "The page cannot be found" errors where I am.

Wow, I've just seen it, Ads by Goooooogle are back on your frog and pig sites... Very glad to see we were wrong, Critters, not any crazy clicker on your sites, etc. :) :) :)

Probably it was indeed an odd DNS problem as you say, maybe half day long. We can reproduce something similar on our computers with an IP+domain line in the hosts file (an old method to get blank ads and prevent self-clicking).

Nice to see you again, Critters! ;)

Geez guy, don't go away again. These people freaked out while you were away. Also you've been forbidden to have any problems with your site!

Now that I've said that, we can all move on ;)

Is it better to add the pictures above the ad or below the ad?

I think they look much better above the ad. When they are below there seems to be way to much whitespace.

Agree, they look much better above the ads, I just implemented the same on one of my site - PetFinder I think it looks nice, what do you think?

    Cheers

I would be much more interested in clicking your ads if they had the same cartoon style graphics above the ads that you have below in your main website. The photographs look a little out of place on that page and don't merge as well with the site.

Not identical graphics to the cartoon icons, but I think you might do better with line-art above your ads versus photographs. Worth trying out. ?

    Hi Webhost,

I think the ads look good but would look better if you centred them (and the header) above the directory.

Be careful with this one. I just got a response from Google that dynamic images might be "misleading". So you may want to keep them static.

I just emailed Google because of ThinkBling's comment because I am in fact running dynamic images. I have a photo gallery on the site and I pull 4 random images. I am not attempting to match the pics directly with each ad. I am probably going to make it the last 4 images uploaded to the gallery so that it doesn't change with each impression.
