    This has been around for ages. It's for people with large domain portfolios who want to monetize their traffic. Sites like Sedo.com and Fabulous.com utilize similar services to offer parking pages to people who dont qualify for the programs directly through google.

    I found a domain taster that was using it in late February... with a trademarked name. I'm fairly certain they were sniffing the whois queries, and I think that is against their ICANN agreement...

    ye, do never expect 750K hits for a parked domain. it's as impossible as google.com getting dropped. (well, google.de did get dropped, cuz Mark Monitor sucked/sucks).
