Is it a really good domain? Or even a good domain? Half decent domain?

Apparently, and I don't know if this is true or not, Mr Medina is being accused, as well as the shenanigins with the hookers and stuff, of stealing customers domains and selling them.
Edit: A thought just occurred to me - is your domain in the Registerfly marketplace?

RF site seems to be down now.

EDIT: Back up 10 minutes later.

EDIT 2: But cannot log in.

EDIT 3: Eventually logged in. Once logged in, everything is quick.

I went through the WHOIS info for all my domains still at RF, and find two of them to be totally bogus.

Two of my related (singular and plural of a noun) .info domains are now registered to a Mr. Lim in MY (Myanmar). The singular is a developed website, the plural points to it. The website is not a big moneymaker, just a few dollars a week.

What to do? Change the info on the RF site back to myself? Will that alert Mr. Lim?

Or, perhaps wait until RF repairs what might be just garbled info in their database?

Pffft! I wouldn't be giving Registerfly any benefit of the doubt. If the domains are indeed yours then get the whois info changed immediately and then get them transferred to a decent Registrar within the hour!

My last remaining name with RF now has bogus Whois details, but this is minor compared to the fact that I can't access my account and hence I can't set nameservers to the current host.

So my site languishes offline while RF refuses to provide me with correct login details.

Do a whois, if it says ENOM as registrar then contact them. RegFly used to be an enom reseller.

If it says RegFly as the registrar then your only chance is contact support through phone, not the support tickets.

    Good luck

Got my enom sites off them, fine thanks, but one last site is caught with them in the current nightmare situation. And RF are listed on whois as the site registrar.

Tried calling but they put me off saying the system was down. Tried faxing and emailing support but they don't bother emailing me the new login details. Very frustrating.

See ICANN reaction that is leading to terminating the registrant agreement with RegisterFly soon.

There's a very useful Registerfly FAQ on RegisterfLies.com that may help some of you with the problems you are experiencing.

Interesting the ICANN announcement Xaver linked to in the above post.

Registerfly was served with notice on 21st Feb that they had 15 working days to fully comply with the Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA).

Registerfly refused to allow / comply with an emergency ICANN audit!

ICANN has provided notice that it will file a suit against RegisterFly in the United States District Court for the Central District of California seeking a temporary restraining order (TRO) requiring RegisterFly to turn over the data requested and to compel an emergency audit of its books and records.

The writing is on the wall, folks! Registerfly have so far failed to cure the breaches of the RAA. In other words, they are about to be revoked by ICANN, meaning they can no longer act as a Registrar.

Enom have revoked their reselling agreement with Registerfly.

What Registrar would want to offer Registerfly a reseller agreement now? Without Accreditation by ICANN or a Reseller, the company is finished as far as I can see.

Make sure you move any domains while you have the chance because it won't be there for much longer.
