    i have just launched a directory. i hope you guys will help me to improve my directory.
    all type of sites are welcome, but subdomains and deeplinks will be rejected.

    Big trouble brewing on that score. I'm afraid to submit and have my website name anywhere near a Yahoo! trademark infringement. Is there something we are missing here?

    Interesting design but with a name like yahoodirectory you might as well have stuck a sign up saying SUE ME, you are wasting your time and money on developing this directory because it will all be gone with one lawyers letter from yahoo

    yeah but i removed the "!" mark :)

    Guys, I am no lawyer but yahoo has not trademarked "YAHOODIRECTORY" and he is not separating Yahoo from directory, so it is a whole different term now. Besides, I believe that if it has a variation of at least 15% that should not be an issue. Again, I am no lawyer and I may be wrong but i think he will be fine.
