I just noticed that site for sale forum really active.... when you post a thread in just 1 hour if no one post a reply for sure it will be move to the next page or even third page...

May I suggest to create another sub forum for turnkey sites and Want To Buy Site, like what mod do when they create the Adult sub forum...

I hope this suggestion is okey with other members and to moderators :)

Yes I agree with that... easier for buyers to find establish and newly created sites...

And watch the fun begin. We have brand new sites being promoted as "established". What criteria would you guys want for deciding what goes where?

hmm true. you get listings that say "i established my site a week ago!". i'm out of ideas, but a sub forum under 'sites' will be nice.

Established = Proven traffic and income
    New = No traffic/No Income

I think that works :) and this sounds like a great idea! Save alot of time searching through threads :D

sarah's right though. after all 'established' has a more valuable tag to it, and it's debatable on what can be called established. a site that was up for 2 years but absolutely no income is 'established', while a site that makes $50 the second day it was launched (maybe due to promoting to email lists) certainly cannot be called 'established'.

I am agree with this one, meaning if site posted is no traffic and earnings that is new and not established site

I think bumping is the main problem w/ the sites forum.

Look at the topics there right now. 90% of them have the last post by the topic starter.

I was about to start a topic regarding this issue, but found this thread and decided to bump it instead.

Bumping is a problem indeed, but the only solutions I can see for that is disabling bumping in that forum completely, or just allowing one bump for every 24 hours or another timeframe.

The problem with disabling bumping though, is that it'll be unfair for most people. With interested parties bumping threads (with questions, bids, etc.) and members creating threads every day, other threads are pushed to the next few pages, and therefore receive no real exposure or attention. There aren't too many people that go through those next few pages.

Oh... another thing that came to mind is maybe restricting members to creating 1 thread for every 5 days maybe?

Hmm.. despite what I've said above, I completely agree with the idea devin proposed. An established sites subforum for sites that meet a certain criteria would be great! It's really hard these days to dig through all the brand new/turnkey sites that are being listed for sale.

I'm sure there are many points that can made on this matter, but that's all I can think of for now.

established = Traffic + Upped for at least 8-10 weeks conitnuously + Stable(not glitches)
New = Negation of all the above:D

    I guess this is right:D
