having traditions is nice, but isn't it nice to also see how other people live and think. So when they say there is no god, why not tell them your traditions. that is the point of this thread.

If they is no god, that mean you can do anything you want without limit. If it's true, what for you live on earth? Then, if you have a big problem, for whom you wanna ask for help? eeehhhmmm... it must be hard if there is no God.

that whole speech was pretty irrational. Just because there is no god does nto mean that there is no life. You should enjoy and embrace your life and look within yourself and those around you for strength, not a bunch of fantasy.

just because everyone told you there whole life there was a god doesn't mean there is, i mean really there is no santa clause, or tooth fairy or easter bunny, etc. The concept of a higher power is absurd.

we are all just part of this universe and there are more gallaxies in this universe than stars in our own milky way galaxy, which has trillions of stars itself.

There are some questions we cannot answer and are unable to comprehend, like why is life and existance even occuring and how. But don't just go with the easy answer of oh yes it was god, think about your own life as important and the life of those you care about, not some mystical being who never gave you squat because it was never real.

Hmmmmm. Life is squat?? That's a bit hard to swallow and just a touch on the ungrateful side of things. So who or what gave us life? An amoeba? A cell? A speck of dust? It's interesting the link missing between primates and man is still what........missing. Even with man's technology today.....but man still continues looking without batting an eyelid towards any inkling of a creator. But that's another story

The same question applies for whoever you perceive to be the creator/god. If according to you human beings need to be created and god doesn't, that is...for lack of a better word, masochistic.

 

It actually easier when someone lacks belief in god. Rather than sit around praying for help, I choose to make myself productive & try to find a solution to the "big problem". Ever heard this quote? "Two hands working will accomplish far more than a million hands clasped in prayer."

 

I do not believe in God, but I try to live my as if there is a heaven with only the highest of standards that I'm trying to get into

Let say someone is going to kill you... and you know you're going to die in only a few seconds... you'll be mad of thinking the way to run out from the situation. If you believe in God, you'll have someone to ask for help!

 

The bible is not the only evidence of the only, true God, Jehovah. The creation around us shouts aloud of his masterful design and artistry and mathematics.
