thanks, I submitted a few sites. I don't know how you want to make a directory using a category dump. first step in creating a good directory is a unique category structure.
and.. you probably payed to remove the powered by link but I don't think you payed to remove the designed and sponsored by links on that free template. supposing you did (5% chances you did) the second important step in creating a good directory is a unique design.
third advice: enable the SEO friendly links before your directory gets indexed.
forth adive: don't allow submissions directly from the homepage (80% less spam). else, soon you'll give up at the idea of having your own directory because of the spam.
fifth advice: try adding something unique to that directory or else it will be "just another directory".
so far you have a default script using a default template and a default category dump.
you can't do the prices 99.99 unless you have a PR of at least 6, which you'll obtain only after 2-3 (or more) google updates.

this doesn't gives you the right to remove the copyright from the script and template. this that there is some people work which deserve at least a small "Thank You for working for me".

Are you aware that the price of your featured link is 199.99? I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that number. BOTW is the same price and it has been around since 1996...but I'm probably missing some super secret benefit offered by your directory.

On the plus side, it's only $100 cheaper than a Yahoo directory listing...a fantastic selling point.
