Here is a general preview of the tool, however this is not the 100% finished look, there will also be a fill button which is used to autofill the submission page forms with the information completed for each profile you set up. The below screenshot does give a general idea of the appearance though...



If anyone has any questions about the appearence or function(s) let me know and ill answer any questions.

In regards to the release date we will be beginning alpha testing in the next 2 weeks, we have hand picked 5-10 testers to test the toolbar application for usability and bugs. As far as an offical release date goes, i would think about 1 month. We are currently completing the website and client front end.

This really is a very, very clever application as hardly any information is stored on your own computer, all your profile information, directory list etc is all stored on the server which means if you computer crashes or you want to use the toolbar on a different computer somewhere else you simply log into your account via the toolbar! Simple!

Thanks, just to say that all directories that have a free option have now been accepted into the list, there are though quite a few with free recip or paid regular links that are awaiting approval. I will obviously get to them as quickly as possible.

syted... thanks for the information, url was submitted, haven't put up a confirmation message quite yet, although i revamped version of the page should be up very, very shortly. I've almost completed the template design for the site, then i just have to create the specific pages.

Added Free Directory to the revolution

 

Thanks all directories with a free regular option have been approved into the database. We have also selected 4 or 5 prominent DP users that post mainly to this forum who will shortly begin testing of the alpha product. The full release of the toolbar should then be very, very soon!

Price wise a trial version of the application will be avaliable for people to try before they buy and a special discount will be offered for DP members/viewers. Ill also be posting a revised toolbar screenshot this evening for all to see.

If anyone else is interested in being an alpha tester please let me know via pm - however suitable candidates must have a good reputation, interest in directories and 500+ posts.

Great idea, just submitted by A to Z Directory

 

Thanks to everyone who has and continues to submit their directories to our website. We have over 400 directories listed with a free regular submission option which is fantastic... and this number is growing every day.

In regards to the directory submission software itself, we have just finished the website and are just coding in all the dynamic information which allows people to signup for a free Smart Submit Tool (SST) account and test out the software for a trial period.

We have also been in contact with the owner one of the most recognised general directories on the web who has agreed to try out our directory submission software and write about it in his popular online blog. Needless to say the marketing machine has begun!!! I will also very shortly be posting the final visual appearance of the toolbar however we are hoping to offically launch with 2-4 weeks, so the grand opening is just around the corner.

As ever if anyone has any further questions (i have recieved quite a few via pm) then id be all to happy to answer them, although posting to this thread any questions you have would be the ideal choice.
