Hi, sorry for the silly question, but How does publishing OTHER PEOPLE'S articles help your own site? For example, if I go to Isnare and find a good article and than I post it on my own site (with the publishers URL and all of course). Will it help my search engine ranking?
I think the idea is that you simply put so much shit on your website that no matter what someone searches for, you've probably covered it on your site.
if you steal enough articles about surfing and someone searches for "surfing" in google, sure, you'll rate higher than you would have if you didn't have any articles about it.
Thanks again, i won't be stealing articles, I publish others articles which will include the link back to their site.
I sometimes re-publish articles from ezinearticles, etc on my blog, if I think it is a good article and would be helpful to my website visitors.
Publishing other people's articles helps your visitors and readers, since you will provide them with information that they are looking for. And more content for your site should help your site's search engine rankings, assuming you use the right kind of content..that is, publishing another person's article that just happens to be optimized for a certain keyword or phrase.
It saves you a lot of time that you don't have to spend writing your own articles. It's incredibly lazy. Also, if you have duplicate content (just copying it from another site) the Google will probably not list those pages of your site. But you can put your AdSense on those pages and maybe you'll make money that way. It's rather dishonerable though.
It can add credibility to your site - not only with the SEs, but also with real, live people! What could be better than that?
Even doing simple PLR re-writes, checked via Copyscape.com, is better then publishing already out articles if indexing is what you're after.
PLR stands for Private Label Rights: You know how some authors of ebooks try and make a quick buck by offering resale rights to their work? Well Private Label Rights allow you to modify and edit the work and put your name on it. That's what Mark was talking about. You can also sell master resale rights if you have PLR. Master Resale Rights, on a side note, allow you to sell the rights for another person to sell the work... the short version: resale rights: You can sell the work you bought master resale rights: You can sell the right for others to sell it; you dont have this right with standard resale rights. PLR: you can edit the work as if the author was your ghost writer, claim authorship, and then you can resell the work and/or sell the master resale rights or resale rights to others.
Actually it is good to add others articles into your website; but one thing you have to keep in you mind is you have to mention the author and the original source and it is better to have a different title for the article which you are using.
