Are you sick of Google?

A reporter wrote a very funny article, he asks the question, "Are you sick of Google"?

What has happened to the company, are they under a dark cloud or is all of this simply a nightmare that Google will wake up from?

Will they come out of this tailspin a better company or will they crash to earth?

I sure hope they survive all of this, maybe they will change things for the better, the question is, has too much damage been done for Google to recover from the problems that they have suffered of late?

John Dvorak wrote so much rubbish in 1999 in the run up to the tech sell off that I have never bothered to read him since. But this article is very good and shines an interesting light on the subject - thanks for posting it.

 

Your right, it was a very good article and it brought up some points I hadn't considered. For the sake of cutting out the leaches in the middle, I hope the auction works.

I do have some questions though, I don't really know anything about this IPO stuff and I was wondering what defines a "failed IPO" ? That not all stock is sold or ... ?

personally I could care less about the IPO... I just hate to see that they use all of their resources on the launch. They should damn some people to update pageranks - by hand if necessary

 

Yes I am too Bob, Google was cut in half in value in the last 2 weeks, I need to find a job, so yes I am coming to reality also.

The economy has cut my business to the bone as I have been telling you for 2 months now.

You know, it's sad. I find myself somewhat pleased by Google's fall to earth. A year ago, I would have been cheering for their success. Of course that also coincides with when I started doing SEO. Hmmmmm.....never mind!
