ways to promote a nice wordpress theme

I'm about to release a nice wp theme for free.
I'd like to know what are the other ways to promote it besides submitting it to http://themes.wordpress.net/ ?

just use the theme on your own blog and start commenting on other blogs. people will notice if it's nice and people will use it too.
